HOT PRESS PANEL TANK

The design of the individual tank segments is modelled using software. In this way, fine details can be thoroughly examined and improved before moving on to mould making and production. The production and construction of GRP tanks involves the use of materials which have been carefully tested to make sure they are suitable for drinking water. The scope of this encompasses the durability of materials over a prolonged period, mechanical features, elements that are not made of metal, and substances that are used for bonding. These analyses form the basis for the company’s comprehensive quality control procedures. Manufacturing Process: The tank panels are formed from glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) using unsaturated isophthalic polyester resins and electrical glass fiber reinforcement in a hot press process. The sheets are moulded at temperatures up to 150°C under strict quality controls. The outcome of this procedure is sturdy and consistent panels that have been fully treated and are precise in their dimensions, displaying clear outlines and sleek surfaces on both sides. Drilling and finishing of the panels take place in a dedicated, controlled area using state-of-the-art automated drilling equipment to complete production to be exacting tolerances.
